Over the past 30 years, the Van Diessen family business has grown into an established name in the Eindhoven region. Especially during corona it was good business. Three years ago, the kitchen manufacturer invested in a completely new showroom across the street. But extra efforts were also made in the area of software and machinery.

Production manager Thomas Raaijmakers: "We invested in a Homag SawTeq B-300 beam saw with the main goal of being able to produce faster. Crucial for us because we don't have much space to stock full boards. Almost every day a new delivery arrives. We then have to cut those boards immediately to free up space for the next delivery."

Van Diessen Keukens has been working with OPTIMIZER for a long time. Thomas: "When I started here in 2013, we had a basic version of OPTIMIZER and over the years it has been supplemented with additional functionalities. I'm thinking of the seamless integration with PaletteCAD, the STOCK system to recover remnants and the ability to define figures with continuous grain."

For a while, ARDIS^® was under discussion with the arrival of the new beam saw. Thomas: "There are two options on this machine, PowerConcept and CombiTec, to further increase production speed. There was some confusion as to whether OPTIMIZER could support those options, but after contacting the sales team at ARDIS^®, it turned out to be no problem at all. In fact, it was simply available out-of-the-box."

Van Diessen Keukens sees a bright future. Thomas: "We have an excellent reputation in the region. Moreover, succession within the family business is assured and new investment plans are also already on the table."
